"But I want to!" I yelled, chancing a glance up at my father's face just as he burst out laugh, or crying, or even both.

"No!" he said, a goofy grin on his face in an attempt to hide his anger. I had tried to stay home from school that day, the dyshphoria gnawing on my bones and brain like they were the world's chew toy. I sat on the couch far passed the time I was supposed to leave the house for the bus before father approached me.

"Tell me one good reason I should let you stay home." I stared him in the eye

Sooo here's my entry for that Skribble Contest thingie. I used no more than three layers at one time, which was easy and hard in different ways. I tried to apply what I've been reading about light sorces, perspective, and anatomy.

This little guy was inspired by Arthur and the Invisibles. He's needs a name, ideas?

If you don't see it at first, the lines given in the package are being used to highlight on the gem on his forehead, on his ears, up into his hair, and on his feather/headdress.

Ahh, thats a really good name. Haha. Yeah, I'd never seen the movie until my friends came over and we ended up watching it because it was on and I loved it.

Well, he's a fantasy being of much mystery and a androgynous look that might hint at something deep and complex, which could help to decide a name. I would vote for naming him Bob. :D
